I got this from the new MotownStepmomRunnergirl post of today:
My five obsessions:
1. God, Jesus and my faith. i love talking to God, Jesus and Mary twice a day, everyday.
2. my community -- my partner, sisters, brother, their families, my friends.
3. how can i matter? this is my work in progress.
4. exercise/training and how/when i'm going to do it. i miss the zone -- that alpha state where nothing but you and the wind in your face exists. because of injury i haven't experienced it for a while, and now that i'm better and about to start a program, i'm CRAZY for it, i crave it!
5. the next move or phase or level -- what is it for me? that consumes a lot of my time because i'm tired of working toward 'it.' i've been through enough dress rehearsals. BRING IT!
So think about what yours might be. I found mine interesting once I read them.
Thirty, in journalism, means the end of the story. But Circle30 signifies an ever present journey, be it physically, as in running, or mentally, as in looking for the next journalistic experience. Life is about changes while on the journey, and I'm clearly on one. So, when you stop by this blog, please share thoughts about your journey, be it on foot or otherwise.

Because Christy told me to
Hello.
My pal Christy told me that I need to start blogging again -- just like I need to start training again.
The two are crucial parts of my psyche, I think, especially since Christy pointed out to me that running and blogging keep me 'right.'
So, this is a test to see if I can, indeed, get back to where I once was.
I'm about to begin another training program, and frankly, another journey.
As to the journey, your guess is as good as mine -- I am fixin' to go through some ch-ch-changes.
