Inspiration

It comes in different forms. Sometimes it's words. Other times the actions that people take.
I like it when it's the people.
Here's someone inspiring. His name is Ethan, and he's 8. Five years in remission.
He's one of the heroes of the DFW Metro Running Team. Our hero.
His mom and fellow TNT member, Kelly, does her half marathon on Sunday, in his honor.
We'll celebrate her and others on their event Wednesday night after our run.
Good luck and Go Team!

it's getting so close! my ankle is still swollen, but i've got complete movement and rotation with minimum ache, no limp, so that's good. i took a rest from running on monday so i could continue to ice and get ready for my four miles wednesday night. i'll do that, three on thursday and 10 on saturday. then next week it's just six before the big day. Go Team!

so have you thought about your time yet? a pace you'll folo throughout?

i'm looking at that pace card we got at the austin marathon every day, looking at what i have to do so i don't get picked up. san diego says they pick you up if you do a 17 minute mile. so if i go with what i did the day of my 20, i'm looking at between 12 and 13. that is my goal.
prolly slow for all you TNT vets, but it works for me : )

Hey, I was out there in SD last year with some really slow TNTers. As I tell all of my team, "...if you feel good, slow down!".
